Retrospectively . . .

Here we are again, in full Level 4 lockdown as a result of a community outbreak of the delta variant of Covid-19. Most of the current 51 cases are in the Auckland region, but there are also, worringly, five in the Wellington region. The good news is that those investigated so far have a genomic link to the Auckland outbreak. Let’s hope it stays that way.

So what does one do when confined to home? Well, apart from the daily walk (exercise is allowed), nothing much at all: reading, gardening, blobbing, doing the usual household chores, thinking about doing all those ‘put off’ jobs (although rarely doing more beyond thinking about it), and . . . playing around with the blogs. And so to this retrospective posting of photos taken last year as we travelled along SH 1 from Picton to Christchurch.
